India General Election 2019 Social Response Update: இந்தியாவில் 7 கட்டங்களாக மக்களவைத் தேர்தல் நடைபெற்றது.
இதன் முதல் கட்டம் ஏப்ரல் 11-ம் தேதியும் இறுதிக்கட்டம் மே 19-ம் தேதியும் நடந்து முடிந்தது. இதில் இரண்டாவது கட்டத்தில், அதாவது ஏப்ரல் 18-ம் தேதி தமிழக மக்களவைத் தொகுதிகளுக்கான தேர்தல் நடைபெற்றது.

தமிழகத்தில் மொத்தம் உள்ள 39 மக்களவைத் தொகுதிகளில், பணப்புழக்கம் காரணமாக வேலூர் மக்களவைத் தொகுதியின் தேர்தல் ரத்து செய்யப்பட்டது. எனவே தமிழகத்தில் 38 மக்களவைத் தொகுதி, புதுச்சேரி மக்களவைத் தொகுதி என மொத்தம் 39 தொகுதிகளுக்குமான தேர்தல் அன்றைய தினம் நடந்தது.
